2023 engAGED and Commit to Connect: Social Engagement Virtual Summit
Looking for strategies to increase social engagement and reduce isolation among older adults, people with disabilities, and family caregivers in your community?
engAGED and Commit to Connect recently hosted a joint two-day virtual summit that brought together national, state, and local leaders for interactive sessions highlighting the latest research, innovative programs, and tools and resources for the aging and disability networks.
The Social Engagement Virtual Summit took place online May 9 and 10 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm ET. It highlighted the topics of social engagement of older adults and people with disabilities in rural communities and supporting the social connectedness needs of family caregivers, including families supporting a person with a disability.
